Iran new social comedy movie ‘Torpedo’ starring late Iranian actor Levon Haftvon is ready to screen.
The film, that is Reza Sobhani’s sixth feature film project, has recently wrapped up editing stage and so it is ready to premiere in Iranian cinemas.
Born in 1966, Levon Haftvon was an Iranian actor, screenwriter and director. He had a prolific artistic life although it was short.
“His performance in the movie ‘Parviz’ was so splendid”, as put by Phoenix Cultural Center-Toronto. Before the current flick, he had played a part in the award-winning movie ‘Kupal’ in which he played the role of a taxidermist hunter.
Haftvan had appeared in Khosrow Masoumi's 'Dirty Job' which premiered at the latest edition of Fajr Film Festival held in February 2018.
‘Torpedo’ narrates the story of a poor man who gains extraordinary amount of wealth and power out of a sudden.
The cast list of the new flick enjoys stars such as Bahareh Rahnama, Shohreh Lorestani, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, Ali Ansariyan and Mohammad Shiri.
